Private Pilot License

At Aspire Aviation, our Private Pilot License course is designed to provide you with the skills and techniques necessary to safely plan and conduct navigation flights.

Whether you’re looking to fly for pleasure or pursue a career in aviation, our comprehensive training program will help you achieve your goals.

To enroll in our Private Pilot License course, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 16 years old to fly solo.
  • Be at least 17 years old to receive your Private Pilot License.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency.
  • Obtain a third-class FAA Medical Certificate or higher.
  • Have basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Instrument Rating

Looking to enhance your pilot proficiency and increase your travel opportunities? Aspire Aviation’s Instrumental Rating course is designed to do just that. This course is an addition to your certificate that allows you to fly solely by reference to the instruments inside the aircraft.

Our intensive training program focuses on building your skills and confidence, enabling you to confidently navigate the National Airspace System, radar, and air traffic controls. With an Instrumental Rating, you’ll be able to travel more frequently and safely.

To enroll in our Instrumental Rating course, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold or be currently applying for a Private Pilot Certificate.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency.
  • Have 50 hours of cross-country flight time as a pilot in command, including 10 hours in an airplane.
  • Have 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time in areas listed in 61.65(c).
  • Complete 15 hours of instrument flight training.

Commercial Pilot License

Aspire Aviation’s Commercial Pilot License course is designed to provide you with the advanced knowledge and skills required to work as a pilot anywhere in the world. Our comprehensive training program covers a wide range of topics, including pre-flight preparation, procedures, FAA regulations, aircraft control, performance, and multi-engine operations.

To enroll in our Commercial Pilot License course, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Have 250 hours of flight time, including 100 hours in a powered aircraft and 50 hours in an airplane.
  • Have 100 hours of pilot-in-command time, including 50 hours in an airplane.
  • Have 50 hours of cross-country time, including 10 hours in an airplane.
  • Complete 20 hours of training, including 10 hours of instrument training and 10 hours of complex or Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) training.
  • Complete 10 hours of solo training.

CF1 / CF11 Course

Looking to take your aviation career to the next level? Aspire Aviation’s Certified Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI/CFII) course is designed to do just that.

This certificate allows commercial pilots to become educators in aviation, teaching other pilot certificate applicants, conducting flight reviews, assessing aircraft proficiency, and performing insurance checkouts.

Our comprehensive training program is designed to expand your flight knowledge and increase safety awareness. With a CFI/CFII certificate, you’ll have the skills and qualifications needed to become a successful flight instructor and share your passion for aviation with others.

To enroll in our CFI/CFII course, you must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Demonstrate English proficiency.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold a Commercial Airplane License with an instrument rating.
  • Have at least 250 hours of total flight time.
  • Have a current third class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • Pass a knowledge test.

Ground School

Ground school is essentially the theory component when learning to fly an airplane. It involves a series of courses and lectures that are designed to give students the aeronautical knowledge to safely fly an airplane.

The course covers navigation, radio communications, flight planning, weather systems and avoidance, aeronautical decision making and basic knowledge of aerodynamics, aircraft systems and powerplants.

Course Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years old (17 years old to obtain the Pilot Certificate).
  • Pass a physical exam from a medical examiner designed by the FAA and obtain the proper medical certificate.
  • English proficiency.

When used for instructional purposes, only an appropriately qualified FAA-certified flight instructor may make any subsequent endorsements and/or pilot logbook entries. Pilot time in an ATD may be logged as instruction received, instrument time, or total time only. There is no maximum amount of time that can be logged, only a maximum that can be credited toward your certificate or rating.
